Quick answers before you dive in. AI feedback and practice content are for study only — not official VCAA assessment.
- Is this officially VCAA?
- No. Study Sesh is independent study support. VCAA does not endorse this product. Exam criteria are interpreted for practice purposes only.
- Do I need an account?
- You can explore much of the app as a guest. Creating an account saves progress across devices, raises your AI feedback allowance compared to anonymous use, and unlocks billing-related features when you subscribe.
- What can I use for free?
- Guests get the study hub, preview slices of practice content and materials, and a small number of full-essay and paragraph feedback runs per week (enforced per IP for guests). Signed-in users without a subscription get a larger weekly allowance but still see preview-level content until they subscribe or are on a trial. Paid access unlocks the full question bank and study library plus the highest daily caps on AI feedback — see pricing for trial and founding options.
- How is this different from ATAR flashcard sites?
- Many sites cover lots of subjects with flashcards and short quizzes. Study Sesh is only VCE English, with tools aligned to Sections A, B and C and AI feedback on real pieces of writing — we prioritise exam-section depth over breadth across every subject.
- How does AI essay feedback work?
- You paste or write a response; the app sends it to our AI pipeline with VCE-style rubric guidance. Output is indicative only — always follow your teacher's advice for school-assessed work.
- Can I get a refund?
- Paid plans are handled through Stripe. Use the billing portal from your account menu, or contact support with your subscription email if something went wrong.
